Yes that’s right – it was to restore Nanny Dot’s bike so that she could
ride it again.
Susie waited until Nanny Dot left, then she went into the garage in
search of the old bike. It was indeed very old and dusty. Susie set to
work straight away scrubbing, oiling, dusting and polishing. She bought
Nanny Dot new brake pads, lights, a bell, a high vis jacket and a cycle
helmet with sunflowers on it.
You can imagine how surprised Nanny Dot was when she got home to
find the shiny bike propped up against her back garden fence.
Inside the basket she found the new high vis jacket and the cycle
helmet with sunflowers on. As she lifted them out she noticed a tiny
white mouse snuggled in the corner. Not a real one – a toy mouse,
put there by? Well, Kit of course!
